ResumeCallBack — Terms of Use

1. Operator and contact
ResumeCallBack is operated by Shannon Kelley, an Arkansas sole proprietor doing business as ResumeCallBack, referred to as "ResumeCallBack," "we," "us," or "our."
ResumeCallBack is a sole proprietorship. It is not a corporation or a limited liability company.

By creating an account or using ResumeCallBack ("the Service"), you agree to these terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, have legal capacity to enter a contract, and be located in the United States when you create an account or purchase the Service. You represent that the information you provide about your age and location is accurate.
3. United States only
The Service is offered and marketed only in the United States. Existing eligible customers may access their accounts while temporarily traveling, subject to applicable law and security controls. Account creation and payment are restricted to users in the United States.
We do not offer or market the Service to residents of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or any other country. If you access the Service from outside the United States you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with the laws that apply to you.
4. What the Service does
ResumeCallBack is an AI-assisted career toolkit. It can:
- Accept and parse resumes you upload in PDF or DOCX format
- Store your career information so you can reuse it
- Accept job descriptions you paste in
- Produce estimated alignment scores between your materials and a job description
- Identify potential gaps between them
- Generate draft resume content for your review
- Generate interview preparation material
- Produce AI-assisted research about an employer
- Review a LinkedIn profile from a screenshot or export file you upload
Every output is a draft for you to review, edit and decide about.
5. No LinkedIn authentication or publishing
The Service does not currently authenticate to, publish to, or schedule content on LinkedIn. Any LinkedIn-related draft or review is based on information you choose to upload and is for your manual review and use.
The Service does not connect to your LinkedIn account, does not hold any LinkedIn credential, and does not publish or schedule anything on LinkedIn or any other platform.
6. Your account
You are responsible for your login credentials and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@resumecallback.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
7. Your content stays yours
You retain ownership of everything you submit — your resume, your career history, your answers, and the outputs generated from them.
8. The licence we need to operate
You grant ResumeCallBack a limited, nonexclusive licence to host, copy, parse, process, transmit to disclosed service providers, and generate outputs from your content, only as necessary to provide, secure, support, and legally operate the Service.
This licence exists so we can run the product. It does not permit us to publish your content, sell it, or use it to train general-purpose AI models.
9. Data you must not submit
Do not upload Social Security numbers, financial-account information, payment-card data, government identification numbers, medical information, protected health information, passwords, security credentials, or confidential information you do not have the right to use.
The Service performs basic checks for known risky patterns but cannot reliably detect every type of sensitive content. You are responsible for what you put in.
10. Prohibited conduct
Do not:
- Submit data you do not own or have permission to use
- Reverse-engineer the Service, or scrape or attempt to extract data about other users
- Attempt to bypass credit gating, authentication, or other access controls
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or to defraud anyone
11. AI limitations
ResumeCallBack provides AI-assisted information and drafting tools. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased, or unsuitable for a particular employer or role.
ResumeCallBack does not guarantee that any resume will pass an applicant-tracking system, receive a callback, result in an interview or offer, or improve employability. You must independently review and approve every output before using or submitting it.
Match scores, estimated screening risk, Hard Stops and misalignment assessments are model estimates produced from the information you supply and this application's own methodology. They are not derived from employer outcome data, not measurements of how any employer will treat your application, and not a judgement about your career.
ResumeCallBack does not make employment decisions, does not participate in any employer's hiring process, and does not furnish any assessment, score or report about you to an employer, recruiter, staffing agency or job board. Every assessment is generated for you, about your own materials, and shown only to you.
12. You must verify the facts
You are responsible for ensuring that all names, dates, job titles, credentials, education, certifications, accomplishments, metrics, and other statements in your materials are truthful and supportable. Do not submit an output that introduces a fact you cannot verify.
13. The one-time $5.00 trial
The Try It trial is a one-time purchase of $5.00. It does not renew and will not automatically convert into a monthly subscription. A separate checkout and a separate authorization are required to start a subscription.
It includes 20 AI credits which expire 7 days after purchase. It may be purchased once per account.
14. Monthly subscriptions and automatic renewal
Paid subscriptions renew automatically each month at the price displayed at checkout until canceled. We charge the payment method on file at the start of each monthly billing period.
Current plan: Full Access, $34.95 per month, including 100 AI credits each billing period.
Credit packs. Active subscribers may buy additional credits as a one-time purchase. Credit packs are not a subscription and do not renew. Purchased credits are valid for six months from the date of purchase and remain usable if you later cancel your subscription, until they expire. Credits included with a subscription do not carry the same six-month term.
Before you subscribe we show you the exact amount, the billing frequency, the date of the next charge, and how to cancel — and we ask you to authorize the recurring charge separately from your agreement to these terms.
Annual reminder. While your subscription is active we send you a reminder at least once every twelve months confirming that it is running, what it costs, when the next charge falls, and how to cancel. We send it whether or not you have been using the Service.
Advance notice of price changes. If we change the price of your plan we will tell you by email before the change takes effect, stating the current price, the new price, and the date it applies. You may cancel before that date and will not be charged the new amount.
15. Credits
AI features consume credits. Different actions cost different amounts, shown in the app before you spend them.
- Trial credits expire 7 days from purchase and never roll over
- Unused monthly subscription credits roll over for one additional billing cycle, capped at your plan's monthly amount, and are spent before new monthly credits; credits that do not roll over expire at the end of that cycle
- Purchased credit packs expire six months from the date of purchase
- Credits are for use within the Service only. They are not cash, not transferable, and cannot be redeemed for cash
16. Changes to price or recurring terms
If we materially change the price or recurring terms of your subscription, we will show you the new amount and its effective date, explain any change to your credits, and obtain fresh authorization before the new amount is charged.
17. Cancellation
You may cancel online at any time through Settings > Manage Subscription. It takes the same number of steps as subscribing did, and we will not ask you to call anyone, wait for a callback, or sit through a retention offer.
If you cannot or would rather not sign in, email support@resumecallback.com and ask us to cancel. A cancellation request sent from the email address on your account is enough. We do not require you to authenticate to the billing portal in order to stop being charged, and we will confirm in writing once the cancellation is processed.
Cancellation prevents future renewal charges and ordinarily takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period unless applicable law requires otherwise.
18. Refunds
Credits are not refundable except as required by law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@resumecallback.com and we will look into it. Nothing in these terms limits a refund right you have under applicable law.
19. Cancellation is not deletion
Canceling a subscription stops future renewal charges but does not automatically delete your account or career data. You may separately request account deletion through Settings or by contacting privacy@resumecallback.com.
20. Third-party services
The Service depends on third parties including Supabase, Vercel, Anthropic, Stripe, and Resend. Their handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for their acts or omissions beyond our own obligations to you.
ResumeCallBack is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LinkedIn, Indeed, any employer, job board, or applicant-tracking-system vendor.
21. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the controls you have. It is a disclosure of our data practices and is available at resumecallback.com/privacy. It is provided for your information and is not incorporated into these Terms as a contractual term.
22. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the Service, or pose a security risk, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time.
23. Intellectual property
The Service itself — its software, design, and content other than yours — belongs to ResumeCallBack. These terms do not transfer any of it to you.
24. Warranty disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RESUMECALLBACK DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any output will be accurate or suitable for your purpose.
25. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, regardless of the form of action or theory of liability — including contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, statute, or otherwise — the aggregate liability of Shannon Kelley d/b/a ResumeCallBack arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid to ResumeCallBack during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Separately, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, ResumeCallBack is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost employment opportunities, lost wages, or reputational harm.
26. Your indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shannon Kelley d/b/a ResumeCallBack from third-party claims to the extent arising from content you submit or publish that infringes or misappropriates a third party's rights, is unlawful, or breaches an obligation you owe to a third party.
This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim arises from our own wrongful operation of the Service.
27. Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Arkansas.
28. Your consumer rights are preserved
Nothing in these terms waives any right you have under applicable consumer-protection law that cannot lawfully be waived. Where a provision here conflicts with such a right, that right prevails and the rest of these terms remain in effect.
29. Changes to these terms
Material changes require your affirmative acceptance. When we materially change these terms we publish a new version number, and you will be asked to review and accept the updated terms in-app before your next purchase or renewal. You will not be bound by a materially changed term you have not accepted.
Non-material changes — clarifications, formatting, corrections that do not alter your rights or obligations — may be made without re-acceptance.
30. Electronic communications
You agree to receive communications from us electronically, including account, billing, and legal notices sent to the email address on your account. Keep it current.
31. Legal notices
Send legal notices to legal@resumecallback.com.
32. Severability and entire agreement
If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and ResumeCallBack regarding the Service.
